Seat Pad for a Bar Stool

A round pad with a tie, cut to our stools, in the same linens as everything else.

Woven furniture asks for very little and the little it asks for is specific. It wants brushing rather than wiping, it wants to be kept away from a radiator, and about once a month in a heated house it wants a light mist of water, because rattan that dries out becomes brittle and a brittle strand is the one that snaps. None of that takes more than a few minutes and all of it is the difference between a chair that lasts five years and one that lasts thirty.

Natural rattan is not garden furniture and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a chair that will go grey, swell, split and unravel inside two seasons. If you want rattan outdoors you want woven polyethylene, which is a good product honestly described and something we do not sell.

Care

Covers come off and wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry linen, put it back on the pad slightly damp and let it dry into shape, which is the trick that stops linen covers shrinking away from the corners.
